Marriage contract of Khavar Sultan Khanum and Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, 1910
Marriage contract of Khavar Sultan Khanum, the daughter of Aqa Muhammad Mahdi, and Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, the son of Haj Zayn al-‘Abidin. The mahr is a Qurʼan manuscript valued at five tumans, forty tumans cash, fifteen misqals of pure red gold, six mans [unit of weight] of copperware, carpets and rugs worth twenty five tumans, qalamkar bedding worth six tumans, some pieces of land and orchards, and a walnut tree. These were transferred from Haj Zayn al-‘Abidin to his son, Aqa Muhammad ‘Ali, and then became part of the mahr. In August 1911, several testimonies concerning the mahr were added.

Marriage contract of Maryam Banu, the daughter of ʻAli Akbar, and Rajabʻali, the son of Muhammad Riza. The mahr of 16 tumans includes four tumans cash which remains the groom's debt, 10 sheep worth two tumans and 5000 [dinars], five mans of copperware worth two-and-a-half tumans, five mans woolen cloth for five thousand [dinars], some gold for three tumans, and some silver for two tumans. The groom's father gifted seven tumans to him and the rest remains the groom's debt, to be paid upon the wife's demand.

Marriage contract of Kulsum Khanum, the daughter of Abu al-Qasim, and Aqa Muhammad Ibrahim, the son of Muhammad Hadi Khvurasgani; the mahr includes: twelve tumans of Tabrizi currency used in trade conducted in Isfahan, one-sixth of a residential building worth three tumans, some crimson gold, five mans [unit of weight] of copperware, and one cow worth two tumans. The groom must pay the above mahr to the bride upon her request, if he can afford it.

Marriage contract of Sakinah Khatun known as Khanum Jun, daughter of Ustad Aqa, and Muhammad Husayn, son of Muhammad ‘Ali Sarraf. The mahr is twenty tumans. The groom settled one-twelfth of his residential property located behind the Shah ‘Ali Bath, transferred to him by his mother, in exchange for one hundred dinars and one charik [unit of weight] of wheat with the bride, all of which was subtracted from the mahr. Marriage contract of Khadijah, daughter of Muhammad Husayn, and ‘Abd al-Khaliq, son of Muhammad Hadi. The mahr is fifty tumans. The groom settled ten tumans of the mahr with the bride in exchange for one-twelfth of a residential building in Sultan Sanjar neighborhood. The rest of the mahr remains the groom's debt. The groom additionally promised to buy ten misqals [unit of weight] of gold and ten mans [unit of weight] of copperware for the bride without asking anything in return.

Marriage contract of Gawhar Khanum (daughter of ʻAliriza Mustawfi) with Mirza Asad Allah (son of Haji Mirza Muhammad Husayn Mustawfi) in May or June 1879. Mahr includes 100 tumans, a Qurʼan, gold (ten tumans), copper containers made in Kashan, a carpet, a qalamkar bed covering, a female Ethiopian slave (40 tumans), one third of an herb shop, part of a farm land near Savah and its water right, one sixth of a house in andaruni, and one sixth of a farm house originally belonged to the groom's father, who transfers it to Mirza Asad Allah to be included in his wife's Mahr.
